A great ball for golfers who want distance, durability and feel (and colour).

The long lama is Now GreenAF.

The new Neon Green SD-15 coating provides an anti-glare effect with better visibility in the sky and on the ground, particularly on those grey winter days. It really is greenAF.

Still with the same low compression core and Surlyn cover.

So why not add some colour to your game. Also available in White & Neon Green.

Premium, professional quality golf balls are really difficult to make.

And that usually means they’re expensive.

At Seed, our products are developed by a small team of industry experts, young designers and experienced engineers. We focus on a core product range, offering maximum performance for the best value around.

We are obsessed with lowering the cost of premium balls, no doubt about that, but we’re just as obsessed with performance. It’s one of the reasons our SD-01 was named as the Official Ball of the PGA EuroPro Tour. We make every effort to provide the best possible value for you, within an proven design concept.

Choosing the right ball can be confusing, so rather than offering ten (or twenty) different golf ball models, we focus on the best model for a specific performance category. This leads to significant cost savings in the development as well as in the production process.

It’s a little known fact, but USGA and R&A performance regulations mean golf ball designers are somewhat restricted with what they can do performance wise. There’s only so much speed (i.e. launch/distance) we can put into a design and still be conforming, so that tends to limit the designers a little when pushing the development of the core and mantle layers. Our design process focused heavily around aerodynamic performance (fluid dynamics more specifically) particularly Magnus and aerodynamic force & the subsequent effects on lift and drag.

For a golfer, this translates into three important performance criteria – launch angle/ball speed, distance and spin/feel.

We’ve independently tested Seed and results confirm Seed balls compare favourably with the major brands.

Balls have been tested with a robotic swing machine and with groups of ‘real’ golfers. Swing parameters were set to identical for each Swing Robot Test and Real Golfers were given multiple shots with each ball, with results averaged. Balls have also been tested at the USGA Performance Lab and undergone extensive factory testing.

All area’s of performance have been considered with design integrity and performance consistency being key. Testing involves collecting data from numerous parameters included external parameters such as set up, club specifications, swing type, attack angle, swing plan, weather and launch conditions.

Great Mix of Hard and Soft

Seem to get all the distance I previously got with Pinnacle Distance, but these balls perform much, much better on the green. Got 2 dozen, the price is great and they are really versatile balls. Can’t see ever going back to a “pure” hard ball.

Good ball for the price.

This ball is great for the price you pay for it. The cover took wedge and bunker shots without scuffing up too much.

They are most definitely harder golf balls (as your would expect from a distance ball), but they are not rocks. They tend to roll out on greens, but once again that is expected on this type of ball.

Overall, if tend to lose your golf balls, the green color is a great help. Even if you do lose one, it's not a huge financial loss. The ball flies well, and putts fine. It is worth the buy if you are looking for a value distance ball that is still good quality.

Green AF

I like green balls. Got some “Green AF” balls recently. They are lighter shade of green than the Titleist velocity, more of a yellow-green. Looks and plays similar to the callway Supersoft. Having to pay for shipping makes me think I will stick with the Titleist and callaway going forward.
