great ball for golfers who want distance, durability and feel.

The new SD-15 features a larger, low compression core and a thinner Surlyn (Ionomer) cover. Results in max distance with more control and feel, while maintaining excellent durability.

Comparable performance to Srixon AD333, Callaway Supersoft or a Titleist Tour Soft. Available in White, Neon Green & Neon Red.

Premium, professional quality golf balls are really difficult to make.

And that usually means they’re expensive.

At Seed, our products are developed by a small team of industry experts, young designers and experienced engineers. We focus on a core product range, offering maximum performance for the best value around.

We are obsessed with lowering the cost of premium balls, no doubt about that, but we’re just as obsessed with performance. It’s one of the reasons our SD-01 was named as the Official Ball of the PGA EuroPro Tour. We make every effort to provide the best possible value for you, within an proven design concept.

Choosing the right ball can be confusing, so rather than offering ten (or twenty) different golf ball models, we focus on the best model for a specific performance category. This leads to significant cost savings in the development as well as in the production process.

It’s a little known fact, but USGA and R&A performance regulations mean golf ball designers are somewhat restricted with what they can do performance wise. There’s only so much speed (i.e. launch/distance) we can put into a design and still be conforming, so that tends to limit the designers a little when pushing the development of the core and mantle layers. Our design process focused heavily around aerodynamic performance (fluid dynamics more specifically) particularly Magnus and aerodynamic force & the subsequent effects on lift and drag.

For a golfer, this translates into three important performance criteria – launch angle/ball speed, distance and spin/feel.

We’ve independently tested Seed and results confirm Seed balls compare favourably with the major brands.

Balls have been tested with a robotic swing machine and with groups of ‘real’ golfers. Swing parameters were set to identical for each Swing Robot Test and Real Golfers were given multiple shots with each ball, with results averaged. Balls have also been tested at the USGA Performance Lab and undergone extensive factory testing.

All area’s of performance have been considered with design integrity and performance consistency being key. Testing involves collecting data from numerous parameters included external parameters such as set up, club specifications, swing type, attack angle, swing plan, weather and launch conditions.

My wife just found her new ball!

Very responsive off the woods and irons. She loves the feel when she hits them and the feed back they provide. They have taken strokes off her game. She found them a little tough to adjust around the greens as they are fast and soft but after a few rounds her chipping has never been better and she has dialed in her putter. Great work!

Good flyer.

Only have two rounds in with the Country Mile balls, will get two more in this week and will have more data. So far, I must say I'm impressed. Notwithstanding operator error due to the inconsistencies of my swing, the ball flies great, comparable to many premium balls I have played. They have done everything a person at my skill level in the game could expect from their ball. Nice job, Boys!
