Helps keep you straight.

The Jack is Seed's take on an alignment device, designed to help improve your putting accuracy, alignment and stroke.

The two large side circles create a strong visual alignment aid, allowing you to more easily line the ball to the hole.

The circle device also provides an instant diagnostic tool for the putting stroke, swing path and strike.

A balanced and centred stroke will result in the ball rolling true and straight, with the circles creating a visual affirmation (straight, clean roll). An open or closed putter face, an overly inside or across the line stroke will all cause the circles to “wobble” after impact, indicating a less than perfect strike.

The off-centre roll provides immediate visual feedback regarding the stroke and path. If stroke is an issue, the golfer also can turn the ball 90° and visually see the skid, spin and roll characteristics of the ball from their stroke.

This can be very useful for teaching professionals or anyone who is videoing the putting action looking for more visual feedback.

In research conducted by Seed, 86% of golfers found improved results on 6ft putts by using The Jack over traditional single line alignment device.

The Jack alignment device is available in the SD-01 The Pro one and the SD-15 the country mile.

I never hit a golf ball longer or straighter on my way to my lowest round ever. 70 was just what my game needed. Love the design. Thanks guys. Will be ordering more soon. Wait...i already have!!!!

Premium, professional quality golf balls are really difficult to make.

And that usually means they’re expensive.

At Seed, our products are developed by a small team of industry experts, young designers and experienced engineers. We focus on a core product range, offering maximum performance for the best value around.

We are obsessed with lowering the cost of premium balls, no doubt about that, but we’re just as obsessed with performance. It’s one of the reasons our SD-01 was named as the Official Ball of the PGA EuroPro Tour. We make every effort to provide the best possible value for you, within an proven design concept.

Choosing the right ball can be confusing, so rather than offering ten (or twenty) different golf ball models, we focus on the best model for a specific performance category. This leads to significant cost savings in the development as well as in the production process.

It’s a little known fact, but USGA and R&A performance regulations mean golf ball designers are somewhat restricted with what they can do performance wise. There’s only so much speed (i.e. launch/distance) we can put into a design and still be conforming, so that tends to limit the designers a little when pushing the development of the core and mantle layers. Our design process focused heavily around aerodynamic performance (fluid dynamics more specifically) particularly Magnus and aerodynamic force & the subsequent effects on lift and drag.

For a golfer, this translates into three important performance criteria – launch angle/ball speed, distance and spin/feel.

We’ve independently tested Seed and results confirm Seed balls compare favourably with the major brands.

Balls have been tested with a robotic swing machine and with groups of ‘real’ golfers. Swing parameters were set to identical for each Swing Robot Test and Real Golfers were given multiple shots with each ball, with results averaged. Balls have also been tested at the USGA Performance Lab and undergone extensive factory testing.

All area’s of performance have been considered with design integrity and performance consistency being key. Testing involves collecting data from numerous parameters included external parameters such as set up, club specifications, swing type, attack angle, swing plan, weather and launch conditions.
